Alex Wright Sports Reporter for the Las Vegas Review-Journal

Alex Wright joined the Review-Journal staff as a high school sports reporter on October 2022. He was previously a sports intern at the RJ. Alex was born and raised in Las Vegas and is in his fourth year at UNLV, majoring in journalism and media studies, with a concentration in sports media. Alex currently serves as the editor-in-chief for UNLV's student newspaper, the Scarlet & Gray Free Press. He previously was the sports editor for the paper last school year after being a sports staff writer for a year and a half.


Hillary Davis General assignment reporter for the Las Vegas Sun

Hillary Davis joined Greenspun Media Group in 2020 as a general assignment news reporter after spending 14 years reporting for newspapers in Arizona and California. She earned a master’s degree in mass communication from Arizona State University and a bachelor’s degree in journalism from the University of Arizona.


Mark Robison State Politics Reporter for the Reno Gazette-Journal

Mark Robison is a Reno Gazette Journal reporter who focuses on where politics meets the real world. He has a journalism degree from the University of Kansas and started at the RGJ in 1993. He lives in rural Nevada where he and his wife care for rescued animals that include dogs, cats, donkeys, goats, pigs, desert tortoises, turkeys and chickens. Mark loves books, reading about 100 in all genres each year, punk rock and TV crime dramas from around the world.


Eric Neugeboren Politics and Data Reporter for the Nevada Independent

Eric Neugeboren is a Politics and Data Reporter based in Las Vegas. He joined The Indy in June 2023 as an intern after graduating from the University of Maryland with a B.A. in Journalism and Government & Politics. In his four years there, he worked on the student newspaper, The Diamondback, as a staff writer, news editor and assistant managing editor. He has previously interned with The Texas Tribune, The Fort Worth Star-Telegram, Voice of America and The Maryland Daily Record.

Eric grew up in Maryland and has always been fascinated by politics and policy. He enjoys hiking, trivia and reading. He’s also always looking for more things to do in the Vegas area.
